Carbon cleaning with water & fuel injectors cleaners 900 1995

940 Non-Turbo

As some of you may have come across my many postings about my idling problem, which I have not solved, and it was also suggested by my mechanic to have the cylinder head overhauled because of carbon deposits, I happened to chanced upon a posting about cleaning the carbon with only water and fuel injectors cleaner that are sucked into the combustion chamber via the vacuum line. This looks like a simpler and cheaper alternative to taking out the entire head for the overhaul job.

There were good opinions about this from the threads I've read and I like to know from others who had tried it whether this really works and helpful. If I can get a handful of good opinions I'm willing to try it out. Also for those who had done it, I'd appreciate some instructions on the procedures so that I don't mess up the whole engine.

Thanks for the comments and advice.
