TPS on full load - open or closed? 700 1989

Hi, I had a lot of trouble with my 740GL (1989, B230F, LH 2.4). It was spitting fault codes all over the place (see previous post - Whats going on?!? Lots of fault codes (long) on Wed, Jan 22nd 2003 at 5:52 PM). Most problems - and codes - were traced to faulty O2 sensor, so I replaced.

Now I'm still getting code 213 - Throttle switch full load setting faulty or grounding short. I've tested it on the ECU connector pin 3 and it's always open, only at full throttle is closen (grounded).

I also tried running the ECU diagnostic mode 2 - sensor test, but it was flashing code 3-3-3 (TPS OK at full throtle) almost constantly.

So whats the operating logic of the TPS? As far as I can see it has 2 switches inside:

1 - the idle position switch - is always closed and opens as soon as the throtle opens (moves off idle).
2 - the full throtle switch is always open and closes only at full throtle? Or it should be always closed and opens at full throtle?
