Hello,
I bled my brakes yesterday and had a little trouble. The little bleeder nipple (1/4 inch )is a little small and and I had trouble tighting it with my vacum hose still attached. Any body have any tips for making this easier (some tool perhaps)? I did an OK job but think it could be a little better.
Afterwards during the quick test the rear passenger brake would lock up. I have heard that this could be from a leaky cylinder. This was only by second drive in this car so I can't tell you if it was locking up before. I recently aquired this and it had been sitting for a while.
I have also heard that these are wagner brake parts shared with some 60's american cars and that I could get them cheaply down at my local autoparts store. Does anybody have the part numbers handy? Or year/make/model I could tell the parts guy. Every time I start talking about 60's volvos I get blank stares.
bty - I have taken the front wheel apart and it looks fine, but not the back yet. I plan on doing it this weekend and would like some part numbers for the nice Napa guy.
Thanks
shane
