I'm new to this board.I think the Volvo 164 is a great car.A classy ,comfortable European classic.A nice highway cruiser too. My spouse uses ours for a daily driver. My question is in regard to gas mileage. What is average city mileage. My 160 gets around 120 mi. on a tank full!!!!!!.....say filling up when you hit the red reserve. The car starts and runs good,is properly tuned up,injectors have been flushed,well maintained.I know this is a heavy car and is a six but still the mileage seems awfully poor! No leaks visible.Could it be a gauge problem. Is it possible that a sensor is malfunctioning or the cold start vale is stuck and pumping more fuel than I need. FI is not my strong point. Any advice most appreciated.
