Auto trans swap...is this possible? 200 1980

Sorry if this is a silly question...but I'm a newbie.

I have a 1980 240 diesel and I would like to swap it with a 1984 760 Turbo Diesel trans with over drive. The three speed screams on the highway, and is getting quite tired.

I have a really good deal I can get pull from a 84 760 donor Turbo Diesel...

Is this possible?
