Ok,

To show you how smart I am:

In my many attempts to fix the intermittent stalling problem on my 1990 240 wagon,

I decided to pull out the transfer pump and have a look (especially at the rubber hose),

during the process, the ball float fell out and is now floating around in the tank.

I can't see nor scoop it out,

Any ideas?

And if I leave it in there, will it cause harm (ie stirring up static electricity and causing a spark)
