Wheel Bearing Problems on my 86 Volvo 1800

Ok Board!

1. My mechanic told me that I needed front wheel bearings. Do you recommend that I go to a Volvo mechanic or can I go to a break shop?

2. Also, I got my brand new Volvo engine wiring harness and my car is running great. With a lot of research I got the part and installation for $470.00. Oh yeah, and I got my windows tinted today on my wagon. Boy does it make a difference.
