Went to the yard today to get the sway bars, they always ask what your looking for and give you a printout of how much it is. I just asked for the stock ones on my 87, their computer list the sizes even for turbos. The guy today said they would be $40 each for the front and the rear. Good thing I kept the slip of paper that said $25 each from yesterday. So went back grabbed the sways. Went and stopped by the 1990 244 I got the Virgos off of. Funny I didnt see those brand new rear shocks last time. $8 a piece for those. Figured while everything in the back is jacked up might as well change those, who knows how old the old ones are. They also want $20 for both rear coil springs. My rearend is kind of soft over the bumps and if you throw some people in the back seat it gets ugly over them. Is there anyway to do a makeshift commpression check with the Junk car springs, to see if they are worth getting? Thinking about grabbing them next time I'm out there. Also wheres the best place to get the new bushings for the Turbo sways??? Nobody in town seems to have them.
Thanx for all the advice everybody.
