GLT/Turbo suspension vs. GL suspension 200

Hi

I have a question concerning the suspension of the different 240 models. My car is a 1989 GL with NA B230F engine. Now I would like to improve road handling a little bit. Iīve already installed the IPD style front and rear anti sway bars. Next step would be upgrade of suspension. Concerning that the rear springs are worn itīs the ultimate moment to do some improvements. Due to configuration of my driveway I could not lower the car as much as it would be lowered with the usual sport suspensions which are offered. Now Iīve heard about it, that the GLT or even the Turbos had a somekind different suspension than the standard GL models. I would like to know if I could swap the front and rear suspension parts (coil springs and shocks) out of a GLT/Turbo model without changing the exhaust system (I have the "above rear axle" system). Moreover I would like to know if this upgrade would be worth the effort and of course if itīs true that the suspension of the GLT differs from that of the GL.

Thanks for any input and lots of greetings --- M.P.
