Brakes AGAIN!!, AntiLock Light, questions?? 700 1988

Hey Bricksters,

i have had this problem with my 88 765ti since purchase.. Every 6 months or so I have to replace the pads and rotors, this is getting rather expensive now within 2 years 4 pairs of pads and rotors! Anyway, I think the most of the problem is my anti lock screwing up? This is how it goes, Now when I start the car the lite, lites up, before new pads and rotors. When I first get the brakes replaced it doesnt lite at start up, you drive about a block and there turns on the lite, also there is a major studder in the braking system from the front wheels before the lite is lit.
Everyone thinks pulsing, this is more than a pulsing, you hear a spring popping noise then a metal to metal kinda of clunk and the steering wheel jumps and you cannot control the car(what I mean is the steering wheel does this jump from one direction to another its scary!!), then the lite, lites up again and all is fine. I have cleaned the sensors to no end, how can I tell if one of them is bad or not and does this sound like a sensor problem? Can anyone give me a way to trouble shoot my ABS system for an 88 765ti? Help please I really dont want to get rid of my 765 but I cannot keep shelling out money for new pads and rotors..

Thanks in advance!
Paul
