scratched the 85w I found a 83 245 TURBO STICK 200

well now what have I got myself in to now
83 245 turbo stick built on 5-83
needs a master/cly and a radio
AND A/C IS DEAD
maybe brake pads too[whats the best brand?]
white out blue cloth in no marks on it or ID
ARE TURBOS GL OR DL OR JUST TURBOS?????

WHAT TO LOOK FOR ON TURBOS??

it knocks some on hard acc
and bucks in first gear sometimes maybe bad old gas
shifts ok but gate seems very narrow and reverce is not locked out
5th over drive is not working but that maybe because
I pulled off the nob by acident,
just replug it or is there a trick to that??
no intercooler can I just add one????
any other turbo tricks I should know?????

btw the 85 245wagon I looked at yesterday was rusty on the floors
if you want it for $600 it is still for sale at 305-238-4610 in miami fla
motor and trans seamed good and body looks ok but under side is very rusty
I might of bought it but I found the TURBO/STICK so passed
