I am wondering if I can fix my car with a pipe bomb. No really, this car is driving me nuts, 88 760 turbo. for the last six months I have been trying to figure out why my car doesn't idle when it is cold, by cold I mean 70 dergrees F. and when the engine hasn't ran that day. It idles for a few seconds at 1500rpm then slowly drops to 1000rpms runs extemly rough then dies, after a few re-starts and the engine warms a little it idles fine. I thought it might be the AMM because when it is running rough I unplug it and it idles fine, so I thought I had solved the problem. I went to the junk yard and got another one and the same thing, I took the one off my 740 which I know works and the same thing happens. Ive been all ove the FAQs, I changed the IAC valve, cleaned the T/B, changed the engine temp sensor, adjusted the T/B and no help at all. Thank you for your help
