A/C vent, brake pedal sound et al 900 1993

OK, While it is not A/C time yet, I would like to possibly diagnose the reason(s) for the loss of A/C to dash vents under accelleration (posted last summer). This is not a 960 or a turbo, so I am not sure the FAQ info applies (BTW, my 87 740 never had this problem). Vents go out under accelleration, thats it.
Also, when I have to stomp on the brakes, a squealing sound comes from under the dash or perhaps from the other side of the motor area.

Are these connected, ie vacuum leak? pumping the pedal does seem to change the idle a little but not dramatically.

Come to think of it, the idle is rather low (5-600RMPs) and fluctuates on its own more than I would have thought. Car shakes some too. While this may not account for the other two queries I had, I suspect the car will be seeing my mechanic soom.

Any advise welcomed.

Dr, Chip. PS. while I like this car, I prefered the 740 (ZF trans too) should have never sold it. Call me an iconoclast.
