Finally got the 760 into my mechanic today and he says the lock is bad. Ordered a new keyed lock from Volvo for $90. Arrival is expected to be within 2-3 weeks as it is coming from Germany. Thank you for all your help/suggestions and helping me narrow down the possibilities.
