Regarding :Shift Indicator Bulb Replacement.
With all respect to Sir Ringlee and the FAQ's
and the persons, who contribute,
I think IMHO that the FAQ in that case is too complicate.
>>>>>>>>> FAQ
The light is deep down on the left (drivers) side of the gear shift,
under the shift gate, with two wires going to it.
With a long needle nose pull down gently on the wires to remove the light receptacle.
The bulb is one of those 'grain of wheat' types. Make sure it works as you do not want to repeat the job.
Reinstall in reverse order. The fun part it to reinsert the bulb holder. A long curved needlenose pliers works best.

My comment:
The shift indicator black plastic is attached by 2 screws.
I dissassembled these 2 screws approximately on top and bottom
of the shifter and the black plastic indicator is removed
with easy access to the bulb.
No need of "needlenose pliers".
Just make sure the little plastic fork goes back into the plastic nose
so that it works.
Heater Control Illumination:
I had a hard time to 'twist' that d*** bulb holder.
Not that much space for big hands - But it works.
