940 ELECTRIC SEAT PROBLEM 900 1993

I just bought a used '93 940. It seems to be in great shape except for both front electric seats. They work in all positions except they will not go forward or backwards.

When the switch is pressed to move forward or backwards on the driver's seat,it will not move in the left track and on the passenger side, it will not move in the right track.

Before going to the dealer or a mechanic specializing in Volvo's I thought I would see if someone could give me some input from this message board!
