Does this plan of attack sound good for my 88 745 Turbo? 700

I am planning out my Saturday and welcome any tips or suggestions. I just bought throttle body gasket today because I have a bad idle and this seemed like a good place to start. I have never cleaned it and it the car wasn't maintained well when I got it so I figure why not. Then, the next most important item was the connections on the positive of the battery. My volt meter reads low especially with the lights on just after a start. I read through the FAQ and found some posts about coroded terminals so I took a look and mine are very brutal. You can see they are corroded and fraying. Now, for the latest events that concern me. I have had frequent stalling (a few at idle and a few while cornering and decelerating). Also, I have had cutouts at wide open throttle, high speed and high RPM and just today a few cut outs driving lightly at about 60 mph. The postings here and in the FAQ seem to point to in tank pump for the cornering problem and high speed cut out (tank was below 1/4 when it happened), and the Hall sensor for the cut out at 60 (RPMs drop - not to 0 because the car starts on its own again very quick). On the Hall sensor, I am first going to look at the connector. I know mine is hanging loose and busted already so I am hoping it is just a short I can fix now and then maybe in the summer I can get the $6.00 connector to fix it. As for the in tank pump, I am not really wanting to spend the $409 CDN for a new one if I can help it. I will check external connections first and then maybe later in the summer I will pull the pump out to see if it is the internal hose mentioned in the FAQ that is the problem. Until then, I will just try to keep the tank above 1/4.

Does this all sound reasonable? Does anyone have any different opinions on where I should be starting? Thanks in advance. Lets hope I have an amazing running brick for Monday.
