Seat belt noisemaker on perpetually 700 1985

That incessant ding ding ding! Won't turn off! I have two questions:
1)where is the "dinger" located so I can get it out
2)what are common reasons for it behaving this way. Door switch?

Thanx for any advice in advance. It's making me nuts!
