NEW RADIO INSTALLATION FOR A 1990 760 GLE HELP I NEED MY MUSIC!!!!! 700

Hello again guys!

My darn radio keeps specifically displaying for a code to be entered! I just purchase this car (one of 3 Volvos) about a month ago. Where the heck do i get the code? Better yet this radio pops right out of the dash in 2 sections. The top half is the radio, and the bottom half the tape deck. They are clipped into the wiring very simply. Would I have to get a universal plug to attach to the car's poer source prior to installing a newer system? The older radio is in good conditon and it is labeled as having "Volvo Guard" (radio will not function upon being detached from the car. What are my options (good basic tape deck/AM-FM RADIO), I need some music asap! Heck i can't even hear the news/weather forcast and or talk radio!
