Proper plug for 745t 700 1988

Didn't see anything in the FAQ about this so I'll ask here. What is the proper NGK plug for the '88 745t? IPD sells BP7ES in both the resistor and non resistor for this car. Haynes says Bosch W7DC, or equivalent of course, which the BP7ES is. Gap is 0.7mm.

I have plenty of NGK BP7ES around for the motorcycles so I was set. I pulled the plugs out of the car to find very new BPR6ES gapped at 1.0mm. The insulators were white/very light tan/gray.

I couldn't locate my spark plug reference chart and don't recall which is hotter, the 6 or 7. If I recall correctly, the lower the number NGK, the hotter the plug. (For example, my Montesa trials bike runs a hot BP5ES as it's a low revving two stroke running a 32:1 oil premix. Colder plugs foul in it.)

Back to the car, to top it off, I used anti-sieze when installing the new plugs only to find it isn't recommended. Seems this debate won't go away.

Any help would be appreciated.
