No Power past 70MPH 700 1987

Hi,
I own 1987 760TURBO and on the freeways when I try to accelerate beyond 70MPH, the car becomes extremely noisy and barely accelerates to 80MPH.
It does not accelerate beyond 80MPH at all.
Does anybody know what the problem could be?
