This morning, I went to start my car and all it would do it just crank. The 25amp fuse holder and fuse were recently replaced three months ago.
It was foggy and extremely humid this morning, the ambient temp was mid-60's.
I opened up the hood and noticed that nearly everything had condensation on it. My voltmeter gauge showed nearly in the red zone (low).
I got home around lunch time and jumped my car. I thought perhaps moisture could have gotten into the distributor or ignition coil. I pulled the i.c. wire off and my father cranked the car; I saw an orange spark. Isn't the spark supposed to be bluish-white? Plugs, cap, rotor and i.c. coil wire are about 2 years old; I plan to do a tune-up later this summer.
I ended up getting my car to start, the battery read about 3/4 high on the volt gauge. Car drove like normal. I'm just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I won't have time to pull the cap off and inspect it until later in the week.
Thanks..
