YAHOOOOOO!!!!!! I sold my brick 900 1991

Hello guys,

Finally I managed to trade-in my 1991 940GLE for a mitsubishi lancer. This baby is only powered by 1.6cc engine and thats a big saving in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance as spareparts are readily available here and cheap too. I know there is no comparison for the safety, comfort and all that a brick can give but since I am starting my own business from ground zero, I think I can live with the mitsubishi (for the time being). Although I am very happy to get rid of the damned car which caused a lot of unhappiness in me I am also sad since I won't be hogging the limelight of this board.

I will try to stop over here whenever I am on the net but my choice of section will be the front wheel section (secretly admiring the 850-T5). Hope my business will take off and I can afford to buy the stationwagon soon. Otherwise I may just have to live with the lancer for some time.

Cars cost a bomb at this part of the world and depreciate very fast. The western brand depreciates faster than the Japs with the exception of BMW due to their agressive marketing ploy. Who knows maybe I will get the BMW 5 series.

Okey now the award acceptance speech - I like to thank my mom, my car, my dog, my one leg slipper .... :) No. But I would really like to thank all those who have responded to my posts and those responses had helped me with my maintenance cost on the 940GLE. I have also learned a lot about 940 but very little about 850. Anyway, from the bottom of my heart I thank you all. God bless you all.

regards,
