940 Non-Turbo
I've been looking at every possible issue for my idling problem and gave no attention to the knock sensors, O2 sensor, ECT sensor. Most threads in the archive focussed at vacuum leak, fuel injectors, TPS, throttle valve.
My question is can these sensors (O2, ECT and knock sensors) cause poor idling?
The archive also illustrated checks on these sensors by tracing the wire to the ECU and taking voltage or ohms reading at the ECU connectors.
How are the pins in the connectors numbered. The connectors have pins in this layout;
I
I I
I I
I I
and so on.
There are I think about 38 pins. Which is the pin 1 and 2 and how does the numbering continue, down and then up or criss-cross?
Thanks for the information.
