How much for t-bone at the grocery store? 900 1993

Rough night at the grocery store parking lot. Some bozo rolled through a stop sign and smacked into my passenger-side rear door. I pulled over to meet & greet, but the other driver fled and I wasn't able to catch the plate... I only have liability insurance, so looks like repairs are on my dime.

I ended up with a pretty big dent in the door under the trim piece, a smaller dent on the fender, and nasty scratches on both. The sheet metal under the door looks fine, fortunately.

I don't have the $$ right now to have a body shop do the work, so I want to clean it up until I can do a proper fix... probably in a few weeks.

+ I want to put some paint on the scratches right away to keep them from rusting... will Volvo touch-up paint work for this?

+ I'm guessing I could find a nice door at a salvage yard for less $$ than repairing/repainting ... what do you think?

+ The damage on the door frame looks like body-shop-only work... how bad am I hosed here?

+ Can anyone recommend a body shop in northern NJ/NYC area?

Many thanks in advance,
Brian
