960 PNP Switch Replacement Question 900 1998

I've got the front of the S90 up on ramps and was scoping out the PNP switch replacement situation before unbolting things and I have a question.

I have to drop the head pipe(s)/cat. conv. to get at the PNP switch. In looking at this, the two O2 sensors are attached to the front/back of the cat. I didn't see a clip anywhere that I can disconnect these two O2 sensors. The wires from the sensors go around the trans. and up into the engine compartment somewhere. I can't believe that these things have a 3-4 foot long pigtales.

There's got to be a way to diconnect them closer to the O2 Sensor.

Anyone done this before?

Thanks
