Have this odd problem, recently ive been having all sorts of problems with my car and i took it in to the shop just to have all the tests run on it, they came back and said due to a water leak ( which had been going on for some time ) which had come in through the passenger side wire harness, shorted out the ECU, so i pulled the unit and had it repair all went back to normall other then the fact my code keeps throwing knock sensor faulty and the car acts like its not there, here the catch though the knock sensor is brand new and if i shut the engine back off and restart everything is like it should be once again until it decided theres no knock sensor there, i was also under the impression i had the LH injection but according to the F&Q i have the mnotronic or something like that, its a 89 745 gl. any suggestions here or help would be appricated.
