Front Door Speakers in a 79 Bertone? 200

Hey everyone!

I searched the archives about mounting speakers in the front doors but all I found were solutions that required mounting the speaker grill with the speaker. I really don't want to cut the door panel and would like to mount the speaker in the location where the stock one was. What I'm saying is that I don't want to mount the speaker grill also. Does anyone know what will fit there and not interfere with my window? Are the Bertone door panels different from regular 240s as far as depth goes?
