After fighting with fuel problems for some time, I have decided to replace the fuel tank. Long story short, bought car 2 years ago April...guy had left car on blocks in garage for 10 years, gas still in it....removed and flushed existing tank, lots and lots of rusted metal removed...replaced fuel pumps and filters...drove great for some time...started having fuel delivery type problems/symptoms...Replaced fuel filter again, noticed the gas that poured out was rust colored, bright orange....had brand new fuel tank delivered last week. What steps should I take to ensure only "clean fuel" makes it to my engine now. Just blow out the lines with air? Thanks for any advice on this.
