Twice reciently the engine shut down while driving. After a few moments the engine restarted the first time. I thought it might have been the thump on the dash that helped! The gas guage works and sometimes dosn't so it thought tapping the dash would confirm the gas level. There is gas in the car. The first time it happened I noticed that the odiot lights were not on when the key was in the K2 position. When I hit the dash they came on and the car started. Coinsidence? I guess so because it happened again today and no luck on the dash thump. I have called a tow truck and need help narrowing this problem down. Has anyone experianced the shut down condition. Where should I start.
