1989 740 Turbo Sedan Overdrive Question 700 1989

Can someone please help me, when I drive my volvo the overdrive will not come on. I replaced the fuse. Still no action. What could be the problem? Also the transmission shifts fine up and down. Also where is the overdrive relay switch at on the Volvo. I was told it was a little white box, but where is it on the car?
