occasional Steering wheel vibration 900 1993

The steering wheel on my 1993 945T shakes intermitantly from a stop till about 50 mph. Not all the time. I can't seem to notice what happens to make it start or stop. It still shakes while applying the brakes. It's a pretty good shake, moving the steering wheel over an inch. I replaced the bushings up front with eurethane (SP?), 2 years ago. The car has 190k on her now. Anyideas? I hope it is the tires (spent Gislaved's) as I did now notice it with my wide summer Yok's.
