OBD2 connector wiring 900 1998

Hi! everyone.
I have for a while been trying to connect to the ECU in my 945, with different software and hardware available on the net, without any succes. However I will keep trying. while attempting to get communication through the OBD2 connector, I have noticed that more pins in the connector are wired than what's specified in the standard interface. The pins are 1, 3, 12 and 13.
Question is does anyone know what these pins are used fore ?
