83FT fuel dist has a buzz 200

Tonight I noticed a buzz coming from the fuel dist of my CI 83FT while it is off, sitting in driveway. Disconnecting the batt will stop it. Anyone know what this might be and/or can I drive it like this until it I fix it? Should I be keeping a closer watch on this vehicle?
