Emergency brake question 200 1985

If I apply the emergency brake and then place (2) jackstands under the (2) rear jack points (no jackstands on the front) on my manual 1985 244 DL, are the front wheels then locked? I assume the rear wheels are locked but do not know if the emergency brake locks both front and back wheels.

Of course I know I should block the front wheels as the car will be tipped forward while on the jack stands but it would be good to know that the front wheels are locked also.
