My wife was driving our '93 945T when it blew a coolant hose to the oil cooler (right near the oil filter). She says the temperature shot up, and the "Check Engine" light came on. She pulled over pretty quickly, so it appears nothing catastrophic happened.
I've since replaced the hoses, refilled the coolant, and started the car. It runs fine & does not overheat. But the "Check Engine" light is still on. Does something just need to be re-set to shut off the light, or do I really still have a problem?
Thanks in advance.
