notch in steering???? 900 1992

I started noticing a few weeks ago that when turning right at higher speeds (60 Km/H +) like when going on an on-ramp, there seems to be a "notch" in the steering. As you turn the wheel about 4 inches, you can feel a resistance and then if you keep turning, you can feel like you are going over a notch in the sterring and it becomes normal again.

Any help would be appreciated
