Brake differential valve 200 1987

Brake differential valve on my daughters 240 is leaking resulting in fluid loss from the rear reservoir section. Have not examined the valve closely yet but I an assuming it a leak out of the switch. I understand that the switch housing is not designed to form the pressure seal and that this most likely is a failure inside and the fluid forces out at the switch. Or less likely there may be a leak at one of the line connections.

Question: Is it practical/possible to rebuild the valve with all new internal O rings etc while leaving the valve in place and thereby avoid having to disconnect the 6 lines? Or is it just as easy to remove it entirely and install a new one. Cost of parts is not my concern. I just want the easiest fix.
