Before I disassemble dash...is this normal or HVAC leak 200 1993

On HVAC sys.

If you set it to deliver air to the floor vents should any air flow out the main (front) vents?

Same question when set to defrost. Should any air flow out front vents?

It seems I always have a fair amount of flow out the front vents. Wondering if a bellow is belly-up.

I am chasing a "hissy/clicky" sound through the dash under load which I really don't believe is "original" equipments on a $28k luxury car. :)

Thanks for letting me know what vents and switch positions should do.
