The shop wants 1300 U.S. American dollars to pull the head. I am going to do it myself. Cyl 1&4 have about 10 punds compression and I can hear the exhaust valve leaking by. What special precations should I know about? I have been quoted $95 for the gasket set and $59 for new head bolts. is that a deal? What about a book? Will a chiltons suffice? Any special tools going to be needed for this minor repair job? When i get this jewel back together will it be an okay little girl car or should I sell it and get her a trusty old 240? I know I ask a lot, but I have a need to know...
