My 1990 740 (non turbo) has developed a water leak near the water pump, but I can't tell if it is coming from the water pump. It is about 2 inches back from the water pump on the left side of the engine block. It drips at the rate of about one drop every 5 seconds when the engine is running. Could it be a head gasket problem?
