Well I've just returned from a 1200 mile round trip to the French Alps (good snow BTW). The car is an 88 745 GLE N/A, manual and 175k came up on the trip. You may think that's not VERY high but it's the highest I've reached in any car. Since I had to be recovered (towed) last Summer due to a failed Hall sensor I've been concerned about the reliability of the car, but it ran like a dream and mostly cruising in the low to mid 80's (miles per hour that is) which is legal on French Autoroutes. This is, by far, the best car I've ever had - just thought I'd share this with you all.
