While I have the head out of my car while I rebuild it, have it resurfaced, I'd also like to do a conservative port and polish (intake and exhaust mani too). However, I am aprehensive about the coolant passages and would like to use/have a diagram to know where to becareful/not smooth. This is somehting that I'd really like to do myself and not have outsourced (like the resurface). I need to start somewhere! I was going to use a grinder or a dremel but may actually use wet dry sand paper since the head is soft AL, would it take forever?
