power antenna - how many antenna sections? 200 1989

So how many antenna 'levels' or sections should the antenna actually go up?

I've seen long ones (i.e. three sections).

Both my 940 and my 240 only go up two relatively thick sections, can't pull out another... do I have a thin final top section on these antennas? I've pulled hard with no results... don't want to pull too much harder unless I know there is something actually in there... Both are original as far as I know.

Next question: I once saw a picture of a 240 whose antenna was angled backward (some mercedes are like this). Did that ever exist? Is there any 'kit' to remount the mech like that?
