FAQ doesn't work on my 95 940 shift indicator light 900

dear all, recently i tried to follow the brick's faq regarding to the change of the shift indicator light bulb. I followed the faq instruction all the way from step 1 - 5 and stuck at step 6. I can't find "The light is deep down on the left (drivers) side of the gear shift, under the shift gate, with two wires going to it."
How am I suppose to look under the shift gate? Does the faq apply to 95 940 also. Please help.
