I have the opportunity to buy my grandfather's 89 240. It was originally my mom's, sold it to her dad, now skipping down 2 generations to me. My only concerns about the car are that the leather on the driver's seat is ripped pretty badly. Does anybody know how much it should cost me to recover the seat?
The major concern of mine is that of velocity and acceleration. I'm thinking the last time i drove it (a long time ago) it seemed fine (it's an auto, by the way). I'm used to driving a 2000 jeep cherokee, also with an auto, and think the two are probably similar in acceleration. If anybody knows 0-60 times from when these were new, or any kind of stats for what these little guys are like. I'm gonna head home to drive the car thurs or fri, but I really can't wait to get it! If anybody has any input, I'd appreciate it! It'll really help my week go by!
Thanks
