TOO MUCH OIL

This is perhaps a clueless question, but last night I checked the oil in my ,92 940T and it was a little low. In the dark, I misjudged how low, and ended putting in too much (The oil line on the dipstick is about 1/4" over the hash marks). Is this a problem? Do I need to drain some of it out? I don't want to risk having oil pressure too high and blowing seals. Is theis a possibility?
