A whole lotta shakin goin on! 900 1983

My 83 940 wagon is driving me nuts, when i go to stop from about 40+ i can feel the whole car shake, I have changed out the brakes and rotors many times, no help, i can see and feel the shaking in my gear shift knob, i did have to drop my driveshaft at one time, but i have checked that too, everything seems to be inline, U-joints are all aligned , any ideas?? Btw it's a great car, and i just want it to drive that way, Thanks
