90' 240 DL Wagon High Beams

High beams seldom go on now and when they do they are hard to turn off without repeated "hits" on the stem. Also there is a clicking noise coming from the engine compartment when you hit the switch to activate the high beams. This makes me think the problem is not in the stem switch. Relay possibly? Thanks....
