Brickboarders,

Like many others I am at the stage were I need to attend to the seats in my '88 240. I wanted to replace the original blue fabric upholstery exactly and priced it at a dealer. Needless to say the cost was astronomical ($700.00)/seat for the fronts. Does anyone know if the original fabric can be purchased by the yard? At some point I want to enter the car in some shows (not concours level) or a VCOA meet on the East Coast so I am trying to keep that in mind as I refurbish it. Thanks in advance for your help.
